Our Story

Pain Free in 603 started with a problem inside our own physical therapy clinic. As a hands-on physical therapist and owner of a small private practice, founder Dr. Jessica Shursky regularly used topical products as part of manual treatments. But over time, she became increasingly frustrated with the limited options available. Some products didn't have the consistency or feel she wanted for hands-on treatment, while repeated exposure to some commonly used products caused skin irritation and adverse reactions among members of the therapy team. So she started looking for something better. After trying different products and researching alternatives, Jessica still couldn't find one that had everything she was looking for. She wanted a product that worked well in a clinical environment, had the right consistency for hands-on application, and was something she would feel comfortable using regularly with her patients. Eventually, the search for a better product turned into an idea: Why not create one? Jessica partnered with an experienced compounding pharmacist and began developing her own formulations. Together, they worked through ingredients, formulations, and consistencies, refining the products until they met the needs that had started the search in the first place. Pain Free in 603 was born. What began as a solution for one small New Hampshire physical therapy practice has grown into a locally founded brand built around the same philosophy that inspired it from the beginning: create practical, thoughtfully developed products for real people dealing with everyday aches and discomfort. Pain Free in 603 wasn't created in a boardroom. It started in a physical therapy treatment room.
